Eugene graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and is a 1969 graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Master of Business degree in taxation and budgeting. After originally being employed by the firm of Gessner & Stock, CPA’s, he became a principal in the firm.

In 1981, after the last of the two original partners retired, he formed the partnership of Goldberg & Zuffelato, CPA’s. He continued practicing in the capacity for many years before merging with Whitten, Horton + Gibney, LLP in 2008.

Also, he was an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University for the years 1979 thru 1999 lecturing to accounting students for the Intermediate Accounting course.

Gene has extensive experience in auditing, business mergers and acquisitions, cost and budgetary controls, and taxation for individuals, partnerships and corporations. He is also knowledgeable in the area of estate planning assisting both clients and their representatives. In addition, he has extensive knowledge in the area of not-for-profit auditing and accounting and provides accounting services in the manufacturing and retail fields of business.
